Myth: Chocolate is high in caffeine
Fact: Chocolate contains theobromine, a relative of caffeine which is low in caffeine. Well, milk chocolate contain small amount of caffeine which is about the same amount of a cup of decaffeinated coffee.
Myth: Chocolate causes hyperactivity
Fact: Studies shows that eating Chocolate does not cause hyperactivity. It just the high-stimulus environment such a Birthday party will cause hyperactivity.
Myth: Chocolate Cause Acne
Fact: Most belief that the consumption of chocolate can cause acne; however, it is not supported by scientific studies. Various studies point not to chocolate, but to the high glycemic nature of certain foods, like sugar, corn syrup, and other simple carbohydrates, as a cause of acne.
Myth: Chocolate Helps Prevent Cancer
Fact: Chocolate contains high level of antioxidant that helps reduce the risk for developing cancer. There is no studies on Chocolate prevents cancer.
